    Heelfan's Pro Adjusted Sliders (360)

Here are the pro sliders I am using. Couple things happen that I like about these

*Balls hit into the gap are stand up doubles
*Plays at 1b are much closer
    *Double Plays are much harder

These are for Classic swing. If you use the hit stick do not lower batter contact and power this low. keep whatever setting you are using now.

Those look real nice Heelfan.. My only suggestion is I would lower CPU pitcher fatigue to 25. CPU pitcher's are @ 1/2 stamina by the 4th-5th inning@35. If your someone who takes pitches, they're really fatigued by the 5th.. Other than that they look good..

If these are battle tested, would you mind if I posted them over @ the 2k boards. People are looking for 1 button sliders. I'm loving the Swing Stick & will be using it this season even if it kills me...

after a few games i feel that a mix between these and bigjoes may be it for classic style joes fielding is spot on i feel but since his are for the stick these are great for hitting except i upped human power and contact slightly to add more offense all my games were like 3-4 2-1 3-2 0-1 good amount of doubles too few homers i feel. the ball is flying outta parks this year and i want the game to reflect that somewhat.

yeah, just keep upping contact and power until it seems right for you.

I'm playing with the Braves and I seem to hit at least 1 per game. Mainly Andruw and Chipper.

BigJoe, I don't take many pitches so that is probably why I have fatigue at 35. I'm a hacker.

                Cardinals (me) @ Orioles

                Lost 5-2, lines:
                R - H - E
                2 - 9 - 1
                5 - 12 - 0

                Carpenter 5.1 IP 11H 5R 4ER 8K 2BB
                Lopez 5.2 IP 5H 1R 1 ER 9K 1BB

Edmonds with a HR, Spivey with a double

I think I'm going to turn down the pitch speed because it's pretty much causing any fastballs over 90ish to be blown right past me.

Funny I just turned it down my last game to "65". My first post reflects the 65 for pitch speed now.

I have been having some good scores. Last game I busted out and scored 15 on 26 hits First time that has happened as 7 or 8 was my highest scoring game before that.

Re: Heelfan's Pro Adjusted Sliders (360)

These are very close to what I have, though I have both my power and the CPU contact/power/skill numbers cranked up a little. But I agree with you almost precisely on CPU pitching (throw strike and corner, change speed, etc.) and hitting (take strike, take ball, etc.) tendencies. And I agree with you that human pitch interface speed belongs at 100.

Anyway, I can also vouch for these sliders creating a fairly realistic environment. I would like to see walk numbers higher, though.

yeah, walks are going to be hard. Especially when pitching. I tried the zone pitching and when you aren't accurate it just throws the ball down the pipe.

I am contemplating putting all my pitchers control numbers to zero or close to it. I have not walked a guy yet in 20+ games. I am also wondering if changing the pitchers composure ratings to zero, will it make the ball bounce around all the time when aiming.

I tried tehse and I suggest rasining the Runner Aggression. The runners do not go forward whatsoever. Some guy for Houston hits one off the wall and can easily get two bases and he stays at first. Then later that inning, there was a single to left where the guy was going against his motion and the guy from 2nd could have easily scored and he just stayed at 3rd.

Just a suggestion tho, thanks for the sliders. Appreciate it.

Thanks for the advice. I may change the agression slider next time I play. At least hopefully these sliders will be a good base set to start with.

I think I have running aggression set to 100. And it works great, but for the "dive head first back into second" animation that crops up on ground balls up the middle.

Played another one with these and dropped the pitch speed down again to 55. I'm not behind everything fastballish at 55 so I think I'm going to leave it here until I develop my timing a little better.

                              Twins (me) vs. D'backs

                              Twins - 0 runs, 6 hits, 0 errors
                              D'backs - 2 runs, 5 hits, 0 errors

                              W - M. Batista 6.1IP 5H 0R 0BB 5K
                              L - C. Silva 7.0IP 5H 2R 2ER 0BB 6K

Silva actually came pretty close to walking a pair of batters which is surprising since he walked a total of NINE batters in 188+ innings in 2005. Yea... wow.

Shawn Green had an inside the park HR because I ran into the wall after fielding a gapper that would have been a standup double on its own. I also cost myself at least three outs because of stupid baserunning mistakes.

A few thoughts after a pair of game with these sliders:
                              - I think the AI is hitting the corners a little too much.
                              - I'm beginning to think the error slider might really be reversed.
