just turn down the pitch corners slider a bit......I thought the error slider was reversed but it's not. I am changing errors to "100" and runner agression to "100".

about the cpu runners that seem to dive back into 2nd base on hits up the middle has anyone noticed whether or not its just baserunners that have an F for baserunning aggresion or attentiveness?

I'm gonna go give these a try again and will report back what I think.

Don't they make a ton of errors with the slider at 100?

no, they don't make a ton of errors at "100". you would think so, but that is not the case.

Through about 8 games, I have seen no errors even with errors at 100.

They seem very rare. I had one last game with Andruw Jones of all people.

I guess I should amend my statement. I did have one on a pop-up where I showboated with Mike Piazza. But even then, it didn't get counted as an error.

                    Hmm, Heelfan..

I tested your sliders. I really do like them, however, the main issue for me is that:

The ONLY way both the computer and myself seem to score is via the longball.

Maybe it's just me.. but I played 3 games. Giants vs Padres. (Me = Giants)

First game, I lost 3-0. Vinny Castilla 3 run shot. That was a mistake pitch, so I concur.

Next game, I won 13-10. 7 HRs for me. Like 5 for the Padres. Bonds had 4 HRs, Ray Durham 1 HR, and Moises Alou 2 HR. The only non HR hit for me was a single by Omar Vizquel.

3rd game. Bonds hits 1 HR, Ray Durham a 2 run shot. Klesko hits a 3 run HR, and then Mike Piazza hits one out.

I also played one more test game. Giants vs Royals. I won 3-0. Niekro had 1 HR, Bonds hit two out of the park.

Maybe it's just me, but the longball is seemingly the only way I can score. Or maybe I just swing for the fences way too much..

Same here for me. I can't score period unless I hit a HR. Usually I either get shutout or score 2 or 3 runs. It's frusturating. I'm about to throw this game out the window.

are you guys using the classic swing or swing stick, if using the classic swing maybe not aiming up would result in less hrs. and more doubles.

I'm using classic. Like I said, I do often tend to swing for the fences, but I mean, for me, it's almost 95% impossible to score a run without lifting it outta the park.

For the guys having trouble scoring. Are you making contact but just hitting it for an out a lot ?

Yep. I have no problems hitting for contact. But everytime I hit it, it's an out. I've played 6 or 7 games and haven't scored over 3 runs yet.

Part of this is due in part to the baserunning. The baserunning on this game is so bad that it seems like you need to string together an inning of 4 straight hits to even score one run. I blame it on that more than anything.

While I wouldn't say that I'm having trouble scoring, it's just more of the fact that most runs scored is HRs (for me and the cpu). That's my issue. The runs, the hits, the stats, etc.. all look realistic. The only issue is the way you score.
