Brezz, It doesnt matter what level you start from.
As for the low scoring games, I have had them, but I also had a game last night, Mets (me) vs the Giants. I was down 6-0 in the 3rd. Came back and tied it in the 9th and then lost it in the bottom of the 9th. Finally totals for that game were. 7-19-2 for the giants and 6-18-1 for the Mets. So like someone said above it just depends on the matchups. If anyone is having problems with low scoring or to much scoring. My advice would be to just adjust, the contact and power sliders by increments of 5. I wouldnt touch any other sliders since they are perfect where they are at now I think.Last edited by DanSF49; 03-12-2007, 10:23 AM.Comment

Re: DanSF49's Sim Sliders for Classic and Swing Stick (360)
First let me say after testing every slider set out there, I have settled on yours Dan. I chose this one because it is the best one out there for classic hitting.
I just dont like the swing stick at all!
Anyway I too have gotten some really low scoring games but last night I played the Nats at the Cubs with the wind blowing and I lost 12-8. The Cubs had 20 hits while I had 14, I just could not get them out.
I believe the the Pitcher Difficulty slider is what keeps the scores low, maybe 80 is too high??!!??
It says this slider is how hard it is to hit good pitchers, which may explain the scores.
Anyway great work on these Dan, I will be starting my Reds season tonight using your sliders.ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.Comment

Another happy customer LOL. Glad you like them Jake. Like I said early about 95% of these sliders dont need to be touched, but there could be a few people that might want to make changes based on there skills themselves. Other then that these should be a great starting point for everyone. Jake what did you settle on for contact and power for human?? are you using 25, 25 or are you using 20,30?Comment

Im playing with Heels at the min and although i like them i may give these a try Dan.
Whats your average gamescore with yours would you say?
Do you feel good pitching and painting the corner is rewarded and waiting for the right pitch to hit? Or do you just swing away?
I like to bat patiently and try to draw walks.Comment

Game scores vary, I'll play a 1-0 game and then the next games will be 10-7. So I really cant say what the average is. But all games are realistic. Yes I'm patient at the plate and also try to draw walks, so you should like these sliders. Let me know what you thinkComment

Guys if you are using the Classic Swing, try these settings changes and let me know what you think of them. I feel they play pretty good.
Human Contact from 25 to 20
Human Power from 25 to 30
CPU Power from 50 to 55.
I want to see how other people think these play before I make the changes in the first post. ThanksComment

Thru 10 games using 25 and 25, I am batting .256 and have hit 15 hrs. I think you are on to something with the 20 and 30.
Oh and another thing the cpu strikeout total is great with these sliders!
The cpu k total was the one thing almost every other slider set was missing, I was lucky to get 1 k a game with heels sliders.
Last night I struck out 12 with Randy Johnson, the next game I struck out 8 with Arroyo.Last edited by jake44np; 03-12-2007, 12:50 PM.ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.Comment

Re: DanSF49's Sim Sliders for Classic and Swing Stick (360)
Yeah strikeouts are done the best with these sliders. The only problems I have are there are too many bloop hits and games are too low scoring. I've had several hits where I hit a blooper right to the back of 2nd base and the ss is so slow getting over it falls in. I might try turning up the reaction speeds a tad. I also wish the cpu would hit with a little bit more aggression. I like how they work the count, but the power seems kind of nonexistant at times. I never really feel threatened by the cpu. Jim Thome comes up and it's like a walk in the park.
I still think I get the most realistic scores by playing default allstar, vs any of these sliders, but there are some glaring flaws to that. SO's are really hard and neither side works the count nearly as much and pitchers dont tire. Plus fielding is way too automatic.Last edited by Walker8; 03-12-2007, 01:43 PM.Comment

Have you seen the thread on the front page about increasing contact sliders more than power? I'm interested to hear if you have an opinion on this theory?
