    Yep you're correct, I do have it on for the cpu pitchers, and as you say it does contribute to the pitch variety greatly. I believe it actually compensates for the extremes that some people are reporting. Meaning instead of throwing way off the plate, the pitches are more right around the edges. I had IE for CPU pitching off for the earlier part of the season & in exhib games, and the extremes were much more flagrant. It's probably a good idea to leave this on.

If a guy's IE says he doesn't swing at first pitches, yet I move that slider to 0, does that negate his IE? Does it just make him swing more often (my guess)?     This is something different, we're talking about the pitching IE for the AI pitchers (how they pitch according to your specific batters), but I think in the example you give it probably does negate the AI's batting tendency if you make drastic changes to the AI batting Take Strikes/Balls.
