Re: Creating **The 'PERFECT' Slider Set**
When you first open your sliders, make sure before you enter any new slider ste, that you go through each screen and hit "NO" when it ask you to save, then once you get back to the beginning, you can now enter your set of sliders.Twitch - bluengold34_osComment

Re: Creating **The 'PERFECT' Slider Set**
With this slider set, are you guys using the Power Swing or has that been abandoned completely?"Well the NBA is in great hands but if I had to pick the single greatest player on the planet, I take Kobe Bryant without hesitation." - Michael Jordan, 2006Comment

Re: Creating **The 'PERFECT' Slider Set**
Hey nnng, I think 65 is too much for power, how about 55 for contact and 50 for power. I know you use payoff pitching and I use zone, I think the CPU hits better by the contact it makes, more than juicing up the power.Highheat's O's Franchise

Re: Creating **The 'PERFECT' Slider Set**
Thanks HH for posting that, and that is the set I am currently using.
HH, for payoff, I dont think we can mess with the 45 CPU contact. I think its perfect right now if you want realistic hitting & CPU K's. The change I do suggest making is turning CPU Power from 65 to 60. I think 65 may be a little bit excessive, but Payoff Pitching needs power in the 60's for the CPU hitters to be competitive.Comment

Re: Creating **The 'PERFECT' Slider Set**
I'd suggest trying the slider set on the first page. It is meant for most to use, as the most recent set is rather hard and potentially frustrating for most.
Other than that, my other suggestion would be turning up Human Power to 20 and maybe Contact to 35.Comment

Re: Creating **The 'PERFECT' Slider Set**
For those asking, my current settings are:
-Swing Stick
-Payoff Pitching
-Dynamic Teams OFF
-Hot & Cold Teams OFF
-Trades OFF (they're way too unrealitic and doesn't really add much to the franchise when Jeter gets traded for Biggio and Everett)
-Injuries ON (have only witnessed a minimalistic version of troubles with injuries that have been reported on this board)
-Catcher Cam ON (I think it's a good system, and adds human skill to throwing basestealers out)
-ALL strikezone aids OFF (no realism to seeing an outline of the strikezone on the screen)
Also, I have found that with ZOOM ON PITCH instead of CLASSIC batting, you get a much better understanding of whether the pitch is a strike or ball. From regular view, pitches that look like the missed the edge of the plate get called for strikes b/c you don't get the proper depth perception from that angle. I suggest you guys try ZOOM ON PITCH with Zoom at 0. It's worked wonders for me, and now I draw legitimate walks that much more.Comment
