    Re: SF's Custom-P Sliders

Still playing with these at Pro . I am horrible at hitting anything but default Pro it seems. I really like what you did here though. Granted for each person there are different skill levels and no sliders can be exact for everyone.

I thought the game was great right out of the box at Pro. It just seemed that is what they tested it as or something. My only real beef was the CPU Hitting balls off their shoelaces , and the pitcher just grooving pitches down the middle way too much. It seems that you might have been having the same problems just by the approach you are taking.

Anyway maybe I will move up if I get better but right now with just the sliders on the first post the game plays perfect for my skill.

I may stick to pro...I'm pitching fine on All-Star but I can't generate any offense. I want to stick it out though and try and play on AS because the CPU offense plays really nice. It feels so good when you get a K because you really earn it...I had a game with Schilling where I struck out 10 and each and everyone was so tough. The most I've scored on AS is 3 though...striking out way too much.

Yea I may try moving up soon.
Its a shame I cant hit All Star cause the AI batters do play well. At Pro not so much. I tried Allstar for a bunch of games though and am in second to last place 11 games back now. I could NEVER win heh. Got really frustrating , maybe After I get more practice.

Well, I'm back to pro now. I played on AS for about 10 games and while the AI plays fine, I just couldn't hit. I have gone back to default pro with the AI throw strikes at 0 and the AI corner at 100 (just trying this out...I have had it at 0). So far so good...my offense is realistic and the AI hitters still present a challenge.

These sliders have been a great starting point. I've made some changes (mostly increasing difficulty here and there) and I think I'm closing in on the transition to All-Star, though the horror stories I'm hearing about hitting being impossible up there aren't exactly encouraging! :P

              Thanks again for your efforts!

No problem...I'm really loving the game on Pro with the changes mentioned. The only other change I've made is reduce AI fatigue to 50 as the CPU pitchers couldn't go more than 80 pitches without having to come out.

What I like about these is that I get good variety of games...for the most part I hit the poor pitchers and struggle against the elite pitchers. One game I might shut the CPU out, the next they might light me up. So far enjoying it...if they would fix the stupid CPU steal issue I'd start a franchise.
