Guy's name is PokerLife, he seems really good
Did you actually play some games and have success with this? Seems like exactly the opposite of what you would want to do, but with this game, that doesn't surprise me one bit.

did you try actually timing guys from home to 1st @ different speed settings? I am still fooling around with numbers but....

w/basespeed @ 29 Chone Figgins is hitting 1st base in the 3.5-3.7 range on a consistent basis after contact. Almost right on the mark from the left box.

With OF speed also @ 29 it is allowing quick guys to go from 1st to 3rd on singles - as they should. If you are worried about 'gappers' rolling forever, this is solved pretty easily with the 'skill' slider & high reaction time in the OF. I say 'skill' turned down as it creates fewer shots to the gap.

I think this is my answer here. Lower the speed ratings along with skill and essentially slow the entire game down.

I had no choice.....maybe I am simply getting old but it felt a little too quick (arcadey) out of the box for me..... I wish I knew better (or anyone knew better) what the 'skill' setting really does..... My best guess is it's a slider to "hit the ball where they ain't" more or less often.

I think pokerlife is onto something with AI Outfield Reaction@100. I bumped his AI Outfield Speed from 35 to 40 & the outfield play is really nice. Could-it be that this is 1 of those reverse sliders. Still playing so I'll return with some more feedback

Re: Does anyone have GREAT IF/OF Speed/Reaction Time?

I agree, Im having GREAT games using AI OF Reaction at 100.....I have there OF Speed at 36 and its great......PokerLife really hit somthing here, seems like he tried almost all these speed and reactions sliders from 0-100 lol.....couple sliders im still havin trouble getting down is Step Influence and Pitch Speed

              I use Swing Stick 2.0

              Step Influence - 20
              Pitch Speed - 75

Not sure if there great or good even decent lol

Also its hard to get the AI hitting down with everyone having this completely different, I have

AI Skill - 65 (seems good, no crazy line drives at all times)
Contact - 25 (They K a good amount of times now)
Power - 30 (Not sure if this is too low yet, Big namers hit HR's but im not sure yet)

              Any suggestions?

Just an observation. I think the key for AI hitting lies with the skill/contact relation. It seems if you turn the contact too low, it's too easy to strike them out...they flat out miss when swinging too much. But turning the skill up too much seems to let them hit the gaps too much. I'm currently one of those who thinks the AI Skill needs to be set low...like around 10. My contact right now I believe is 35 or 40.....at that setting it seems to find a good balance between strikeouts and hits. And I have power set at 40. All these together are giving a good balance of hits for the AI without too many unearned K's.

right w/you on this. I am toying with sliders real close to these proposed numbers.
