Sup guys i have been using these sliders for 3 weeks now and they are close to perfect. You do have to use classic hitting for them to work though. Also only time i use left stick to influence the hit is for a sac fly to get runner from 3rd to home.

Hitting Success - 50
Contact - 10
hitting Power - 70
Pitch handiness- 100
IE batting influence- 50
Batting pitch influence==50
Also have fielder speed at 55

Ai pitch success - 40
Pitch selection 80
strike zone tend-- 5
pitch zone tend-- 10
AI pitcher influence 65

Also i didnt post AI batting sliders because that is different for everyone. Some games i get 4 homeruns some games 0.. Also see perfect amount of grounders and pop outs.
These saved the game for me so i welcome you to try them for a few games.. Also remember use classic hitting

The rest of the sliders are for the Ai hitting. So just choose those on your own by picking all star legend or which ever you prefer and then adjust user sliders from there.

I have been testing for awhile too but i have started to give up. But im gonna try these later, i like how you have contact low. I feel like with lower contact there are more foul balls. The only thing is i use the swing stick so i dont know how they are going to translate. Might have to make the switch to classic hitting.

Whats your hit direction influence slider at? And just so were clear hitting power is 50 and success is 70 cuz you have them in opposite order they are in the game.

Thank you good catch.. I was half asleep when put these in.. Power is 70 and success is 50.. I have hit direction at 75..
I see a lot of foulballs sometimes to many lol.. I tried these with swing stick and never hit one homerun.. CRAZY

But i strike out way less using classic hitting so thats the only downside.

I also will use hit direction influence when there is 2 outs to try and go the other way down the line for a double.. Seems to work about 10% of the time so it helps when im getting creamed
Another crazy thing is i have never hit a homerun using these while pushing up on the left stick.. Only just using the swing button so its a nice surprise.. I have also had homeruns that sounded weak coming off the bat and they just barley clear the fence so that is sweet as well..

Yeah with hit direction influence that high your mostly going to get all fly balls when you hold up on the left stick.

Im all over the place right now with sliders haha. im trying Padgoi's cursor hitting sliders but cant hit HRs, and i cant find the right set for the swing stick. I might have to give these a try.

Just dont expect to much offense with these. I would say i average about 1 homerun a game and 4 runs. You really have to work the count . I know everyone says that but it seems true.

Hey how are JBH3's sliders?? I noticed you used them and i just read a lot of good stuff about them.

When i use the swing stick i use JBH's but i feel like there too easy...i get a lot of hits and feel like i can never get shut down by opposing pitchers. I also never strike out with them. When i use cursor hitting though pitchers can shut you down and strike you out 7-10 times a game which is nice.

Idk though i guess i just have to figure out what i like the most. Im prob gonna give these a shot when i get the chance.

How do you hit homers with these? I like them, but I have a few issues. The first, I already mentioned...homers. It seems like I can't hit homers no matter what sliders I use in this game. I feel like I'm just as good as anyone else that plays this game, but for whatever reason I can't hit homers, and don't get a good amount of hits, and when I do, they are always singles, and I can never get the last hit to get them in. For example, I'll get two straight hits to start an inning, and then I'll get three straight outs.

Try to work the count a little more .. I get most of my homeruns on offspeed pitches and curve balls.
Next game you play take the first two pitches of every at bat.. I have to make myself take the first pitch or else im swinging at every pitch and go on auto pilot.
Spend the first 2 innings just watching what kind of stuff the pitcher throws and then once you got all of his pitches down pick one to wait on

Ok I'll try that next game. Something interesting that happened last game. I was down 7-0, so I said what the hell, I might as well try some different things hitting wise. So I started to press "up" on almost every pitch, and the results were pretty good actually. I did it for the last 3 innings, and in the 7th I scored 1 run, the 8th I scored 2 runs, and in the 9th I scored another run. No homers though.

I'm curious if there's other factors going into not hitting homers in franchise mode. Like there are hot/cold hitters, and I'm curious if because I got off to a bad start, that effected me. I might try these in Play Now, and see if I get different results.

I also might just increase the power a little bit, because even if I do start to hit homers, I should be hitting about 1.5 a game with the Red Sox.

Anyway, not trying to bash these at all, I'm having a good time with them My next game is Game 7 of the ALCS against the Rays. (I simmed a lot of the season)

Thats weird because whenever i push up i get pop outs.. Ya try the taking pitch thing,,. As far as homeruns go i agree you these are not homerun happy sliders.. I usually get one per game and sometimes 2 to 4

Only thing i hate no matter what sliders i use i hardly ever strike out. Of course with zone hitting i do but i cant stand using that..
Really wish pitch speed was as fast as it was in 2k7 and 2k8

Just won game 7, 8-4. Had two homers by Pedroia and Lowell. Looking good. I'll probably continue to leave the sliders where they are for the rest of the playoffs but for next season I'll probably increase power by 5 (once click).
