Ya the higher the number under pitcher fatigue the quicker they tire. setting is at 50. at 40 pitchers will last longer. at 60 lot less pitches to have the pitcher pulled.

yep... some of the human sliders do affect cpu abilities, such as running speed pitch speed catcher throw out success ect. I am not sure if throw meter slider is one of these but interested to find out. will be looking at this one abit.

thanks for the update on the sliders, but I will probably wait until the 2nd patch until I try them...however, please post your results, I'm still very interested in getting this game right when THEY get it right!

just wanted to pop in and say great job so far to the op. I've been using your post patch sliders and the games are playing beautifully. The only real snag I've seen is that the computer still tends to leave pitchers in too long, and the fielders AI is still questionable at times. I don't think any sliders can help these issues(future patch hopefully)

              ...but

all that being said, I'm loving these sliders so far...really great job and much appreciated

(hands floydpinkster a well deserved cookie)

Re: Ultimate CPU vs. CPU Slider set.

looks like it may be time to resurrect the CPU vs CPU slider thread!! I saw that the 2nd patch was out from my google phone, while at work last night, and ran two games without adjusted the slider set I had. my observations are that the stamina glitch HAS been fixed, and the managers actually pull the pitchers when they get into trouble. I haven't noticed any other huge changes, because this was a gamekiller for me, not to mention it was well after midnight when i started the first game. here IS something that did jump out at me: the batters don't seem to be able to pull the ball much, at all. 4 HR's were hit in the first game I ran, and all were to the opposite field. Gordon Beckham hit TWO down the right field line, Travis hafner hit one to deep left field, and Konerko hit one to right field. so, I payed more attention to the 2nd game, and only 6 batters hit the ball to their power field, whether they were outs or not. anybody have ANY idea how to fix that? it's like they can't get around on the pitcher, no matter how slow he pitches. later today, I will update my sliders to the NEW ones and run another game and post stats.

Are you still running Pitch Break Influence at 85? If so I would think about lowering that. To me it seems to greatly effect how fooled a batter is by speed changes. They end up off balance and swinging defensively throughout an at-bat. I think it has a fairly big effect on them getting a good pitch and turning on it.

pitch break influence, isn't that a HUM slider? even if it is, I will try anything. last three games I ran, I saw more hits (outs or otherwise) to the hitters power field and a good balance to center field as well. however, I have yet to see ANY lefty hit a homer to right field. wasn't this a problem in last years game too?

never mind randogu....I see that apparently some human sliders DO affect CPU vs CPU games. I will try this adjustment after I get my 9 holes of golf in this evening!

three games after making all adjustments, it's clear that something is missing. 6 lefty hitters hit homers. all six went to left field. this is not a game killer, but it is disappointing. right handed have hit 7 homers, and 6 went to left field. other than that, the sliders seem to work really nicely. unfortunately, Madden is right around the corner, so 2k sports baseball has a limited amount of time left in my xbox.....

Has anyone noticed that the location of the controllers makes a huge difference in the sliders. I have gone through about 30 games of a franchise and the home team has won over 85% of the games. I have noticed that my controller starts on the away team when I go to the choose sides menu. When I put it in the middle the game is almost always won by the home team. I have noticed that when the controller is moved to the home team prior to moving it to to the middle the away team wins almost always. Also, when the home did when it was in extra innings. Just wondering if anyone has noticed this and if there is a fix for it. I love to play cpu vs. cpu, but its not that much fun when you know who is going to win. I have tried using two controllers with two profiles..same result because one of the controllers starts in the middle. My theory is that one of the teams gets the user sliders and the other gets the cpu sliders. Hopefully there is a fix though.

I started having thoughts about one team using USER Sliders etc awhile back as well. I just set the sliders the same for both USER and CPU and haven't had an issue for 40+ games.

That is good to hear. Thanks. Have you noticed that the games are really close or are you getting good spreads? What do you have the strike zone slider at? Mine is at 50, because with 30 I was seeing 10 walks a game per team.
