    Mk,
Anyone ever tried making sliders for hitting using the broadcast behind the pitcher camera angle? I understand why you wouldn't want to since you can see what the pitch signal and location but I'm just trying to find more ways to make this realistic

Haven't done that. I chose the camera angles and sliders to help me see the ball better.

Also, some slight changes today - page 1 / post 1. Just review your numbers. They were all updated for a purpose I had in mind. Enjoy!

(NOTE: I've put together a "2014 Offseason" roster file for MLB 2K12. All teams with "projected" 25 man rosters - 13 players and 12 pitchers per team. Will be updated daily. No contracts or jerseys updated yet.)

I simply cannot thank you enough for the updated rosters. I downloaded a few days ago and started spring training as the Dodgers, like I always do. The rosters are awesome. THANK YOU so much. Excellent work!

Latest updates are posted on page 1 - post 1.

Note all your numbers. Change to pitcher fatigue (45).

A lot of other updates. I think I've finally gotten this game to play as simulation-like as possible. These are the sliders I'm using and LOVE them. Sorry for the numerous updates, but I work hard at trying to get this game as perfect as possible.

Updated 2.13.14 - be sure to double-check all your numbers. I'm using my latest roster set with these.

sticking with 2k12. my video gaming days are coming to an end in the near future as the 360 is my last console. I'm 41 and find I don't derive as much fun from this as I used to. So this is it...

Just wanted to say thanks for all the hard work you've put into this stuff. I use your sliders, rosters, etc for a plethora of sports games and I love them all. I never buy a game and play it straight out of the box anymore. I always find a nice slider and roster set before playing anything, and I usually end up using your stuff. You have really, REALLY helped with the immersion level of these video games. You take them from good games to great games that I spend hours upon hours playing.

                Thanks, mkharsh.

Newest sliders update posted on page 1. Be warned, they're not for the faint of heart. Pitch smart and make guys chase. Don't be afraid to walk guys. Work the count and make the opposing pitcher throw a LOT of pitches. I think this game now plays about as sim-like as any game I've ever played. Double check your numbers to make sure you have them all correct. I've put a LOT of time into test games. I think you'll enjoy this set, provided you play a simulation experience, and not get frustrated too soon.

I'm curious as to whether anybody has tried these sliders on MLB 2k13? I figured that since 2k13 is the same game as 2k12 the sliders would be the same, but I'm having a REALLY difficult time hitting with a very good team I fantasy drafted. I think I'm a pretty realistic hitter with solid plate patience, but this feels to me like CPU pitchers hit their spots on the black of the plate almost every time, even with pitchers rated 80 and less.

Just wondering if anybody has had success with these on 2k13. Thanks!

Still tinkering with a few things. Will update the set yet again. It's amazing when you play one game and see some things, and then a couple more that give iffy results. But I'm on a string of a few games that just really suck.

My personal problem is this: I lower using batting to 20 and I can barely hit the ball. I raise it to 25 and I can never strike out. Again, we need those other numbers between 0 and 5. I'm really frustrated right now... Grrrr.

mk, do you play with shogun's attribute edits?

I'm having fun playing 2K13 on the PS3, but I'm tempted to pick up a 360 copy specifically for the edits and your sliders.

Would messing with the pitch movement maybe change the way hitting would be? More movement but more contact? Less movement and less contact?

Not sure what you've messed with, just throwing out random ideas.

I think that I'm over-thinking this. Gonna just go back to some basic stuff that I used before. The game is becoming frustrating for me, and it sucks because all I do is work on rosters and then never enjoy personally playing the game myself. I think I'm just gonna have to live with some things. I'll update the OP in a day or two. Thanks!

Agreed, I'm between 2 different power numbers based on your slider set. If I use X for user power, I can't get more than 4 hits in a game, if I use X + 5 I get like 22. I need the increments in between as well.

Same goes with computer, X they don't score, X + 5, they hit like 9 home runs a game.....

Why oh why 5 point increments on sliders
