I only played 2K13 for a few days - but traded it in. So, no, I don't have any sliders for 2K13, only for 2K12. Check the other sets provided here, as I do know 13 plays slightly different from 12.

What i meant was did u make 2013 rosters for mlb 2k12?So I would have a up to date roster cause 2k12 was better than 2k13 anyways.

LOL - Well, apparently you haven't visited this thread:

        http://www.operationsports.com/forum...ters-2k12.html

These rosters are the best work I've ever done on any roster set. Included a team of people who worked on this, and what I'm doing is provided "Living Rosters" with updated dynamic ratings on a continual basis. The Astros are in the AL West. A discovery was made for the defensive ratings that brought this game to life. All catchers have a block plate rating of 99 as well. The only issue (if you want to call it this) is the Mets and Blue Jays don't have the proper AAA affiliates (though the players in their AAA affiliates are the proper ones).

Trust me - get 2K12, plug in these sliders, grab the latest rosters and play one of the most amazing baseball games you have every played on the 360.

Going to experiment with user batting power at 50. I'm finding 55 to be too high - I think I've gotten really good with the right thumb stick batting.

For fun, I played as Detroit (me) at Houston (cpu). I wanted to play the real game from a couple nights ago. Using the set on page 1, I won 25-4. I collected 30 hits. Austin Jackson was 6-7, including hitting the cycle (getting 2 triples). I think the user power is overdone.

Mkharsh, why did you switch to total control? I'm using classic and I think my homeruns are lower than they should be. What could I do without hitting 5 or 6 a game? I'm new to 2k12.

MK, could you provide some details on your hitting approach with the right stick? In general, when do you use the power swing, and when do you use the contact swing? Do you use the power swing until you get 2 strikes, or do you only use it in hitters counts (3-0, 3-1, etc.)? Or does it depend on the batter and the situation? I think that's important to know when using your sliders, because if you use the power swing 20% of the time, and I use it 80% of the time we're obviously going to see different results.

EDIT: Oops, I must've missed your post on the previous page! Sounds like you only use the power swing in hitter's counts. No need to reply, unless that's not the case.

Re: mkharsh33 MLB 2K12 Sliders: Classic Hitting / Total Control Pitching

Keep in mind the guy who created these sliders (mkharsh33) uses them in Play Now games in which he most assuredly uses top-quality ace pitchers the large majority of the time.

For the average Joe like me who plugs these sliders into an Orioles Franchise where you must pitch with a full rotation of five SPs, most of which are nowhere near elite starters, expect whole-heartedly to be rocked day in and day out.

In my Franchise, I'm currently 2-13. Of those fifteen games, only five games have I been able to keep the opposing team under 8 runs. I can be as surgical as possible, changing "speeds", changing "location", mixing up pitch selection, and making a concerted effort not to use the same sequence/location in repeating at-bats to the same hitter.

My offense on the other hand, is starting to come along. But, the main point is; these sliders are tested/played/enjoyed by those who play with elite pitching and hence do not reflect the insurmountable task you, as a middle to lower tier pitcher, will be facing.

With that said, a big thanks to "mkharsh33" and his continuing efforts. I'll continue to make an effort to improve.

On offense, i don't swing at anything until the pitcher throws one over the plate...after that, a lot of will power not to swing at anything outside the zone..usually ends up with cheese down the middle, base hit, or a dinger....make the pitcher throw some pitches

The best way to get the best sliders for you is to start with a set such as MK's and then adjust them as you play games and notice things. For me last year i used a set provided from MK and then as i played i noticed somethings that I wanted to change for a more "realistic" feel for my personal preference...

Like for me i've tweaked my USER hitting all the way down to 30 contact and 35 power just for an example. I've also turned down the CPU Contact and Power to 70/70 so that i can generate a few more swings and misses cause as you mentioned if your not pitching with a "ACE" its really hard to get more then 4-5 K's through 6-7 innings.

I also place restrictions on myself just to keep it honest toward my personal preference. Such as if a batter has 69 Power or less then are only allowed 1 "Power" swing an AB.. if you are 70+ then you are allowed 2, and with 2 strikes i always swing contact no matter whose at bat and the situation.

Also pitching i HAVE to throw the pitch called in the spot in called even if i think that its a horrible idea lol.. but once again thats just for my preference...

As i said just keep tweaking stuff until you get to the results you want. As for me i still tweak stuff when i see things, and with my "newer" version im 2 and 6 in 8 games and for the most part they have all been close and usually in the 4-6 Run / 8-10 Hits range which for me is the perfect number that i look for.

I have made a LOT of personal changes to my sliders. I'm finding that I can get 15 hits or more per game using the set still posted on page 1 - post 1. If anyone wants them I'm posting them here. But beware: they are not for the faint of heart.

It's taken me some time to get these right. Might not be for everyone, but I love the intensity of the game now.

Just wanted to say thanks for these sliders, man. Since my first evaluation, I've come to love them as I slowly improve and develop new strategies. I love this game thanks to your sliders and rosters. So much fun.

Thanks - and glad you're enjoying them. I LOVE the thinking aspect of baseball... I've worked hard to capture that with these.

2 small changes I've made to the set above:

                          - raised cpu batting contact to 85.
                          - lowered user pitching control to 15.

Was finding my pitching to be a bit too dominant, so I'm trying this out. It's an edit to the set a couple posts above...

how many batters do you walk with user control at 15 ? it seems that with everything above 10 i don't walk anyone. but with control below 15 it seems that hitting my spots is impossible no matter if i pitch with kershaw or blanton.
