Yeah,I'm a bad hitter so I might be horrible with these sliders. I'd be sure to try them out.

when you set these up to try out, play a few games, then figure out where you are struggling. then bump those sliders up a bit for you and adjust to your liking until you get better.. then you can move them back down etc.

sliders are a base that dont work out for everyone.. for example, i had to bump up the user pitch control bc i was all over the place. once i get back into the grove i will lower it back down.

I've enjoyed the lack of control. Was playing with control a lot higher than 15, and had a 1-hit complete game shut-out. As fun as that was...it is fun to not always be able to paint the outside corners.

I'm not sure if 15 is the magic number, but definitely is a good slider to adjust if people want more or less control and give up more or less walks.

Well for me, I plan to out score in Rookie like 19-1. Then I ll play Pro and lose like 3-2 and sometimes 4-0, possibly even 10-1. Just hate the difference between the two. So close but so far apart.

First game , in franchise, 1st game with my braves vs astros spring training, I am still playing....... bottom of 8th astros go up 2-1 off a single shot. Top of 9th Uggla ties it up with a single shot. 2-2. Now I am in 18th inning and it is still 2-2???

I am playing latest mkharsh sliders on first post and his roster posted on 2kshare. Maybe i will post pic when game ever ends.

              ^^^ Sounds Intense!
I would've definately gave up the go-ahead run by now.

Heres a question: So do you people find this actually harder or easier than the Pro difficulty? I need something slighty easier than Pro but still competitive ( Unlike rookie ).

After more test games I absolutely LOVE this sliders set.

I won a game last night 4-1 as Ted Lilly was on his game for me, going 8 innings and giving up 6 hits..

I lost another game 6-1 as I was one-hit against the Marlins.

                I then won a game 6-4 as I had a big inning where I a homer and 2 doubles.

lost another 9-1 as I played as the Rays. Led 1-0 on a Longoria homer and then struggled. I had a game where Matt Moore gave up 5 runs in 2 innings, then settled down to go scoreless through the next 5 innings.

One exciting note: I hit a homerun with Dee Gordon... It was a solo shot to opposite field where I waited patiently on a curveball that I got all of... Gordon was rated a 40 in power...so that was good to see.

Ive played 3 games so-far. You definitely need to hit your pitching location right or these sliders can be unforgiving(+1). Finally tried the classic hitting with these sliders. Seem to work better imo. Not so much dealing with ball contact, but a more realistic 'where the ball lands'. Game definitely needs a patch to sure-up some of the more dramatic game play issues.

I believe it goes like this

High: Pitcher's composure influences them in game heavily
                        Average: Normal influence
                        Low: Lower than average influence

I hit a TON of foul balls and cant figure it out, had a couple gap shots stolen away from me but all and all i loved the game it was really intense. I did find it really odd when the Phillies down 2-0 in the 9th let Halladay bat to lead off the inning?? I hope that isn't something that happens all the time.

Re: mkharsh33 MLB 2K12 Sliders: Classic Hitting / Total Control Pitching

So, I've played a little bit with these. I think I really like the user pitching. My last game (Yankees vs. Braves [me])I had a lot of trouble locating the sinker (Venters and Hudson got absolutely lit up, and they're both sinker-ball pitchers - 5 ip, 11 h, 9 er, 5 bb, 3 hr between them) but other than that it was okay (Martinez, Medlan, and Vizcaino went 4 ip, 2 h, 1 er, 0 bb, 1 hr between them). The cpu's control was quite a bit off (4 bb's, 2 hit batters).

Fielding is the big issue for me at this point. I just had a game with 7 errors (4 throwing, 2 booted ground balls, and a dropped fly ball). Dan Uggla, by himself, had 3 errors (and it would have been 4, but no one advanced on an overthrow).

I think the hitting also may be a bit easy. Through 2 games, I'm have a .313/.377/.417 line. Through 103 games on 2k, using mostly these sliders (if not only, I don't think I used anyone else's last year) I had .261/.302/.381 line. I struggled quite a bit at times. But it's been easy so far for me with this set this year.
