    I believe my 2K13 camera settings are the exact same ones I used in the 2K12 ones noted on page 1 (second set in post #1). I like being behind the pitcher - the straight-on camera angle. As far as batting, since I have the pitch speed at 100 (which I like as being realistic - I shouldn't be able to stand there all day to determine the pitch type/speed) - I have my angle back a bit behind the batter.

    I'm thinking these sliders might be the way I'll go for awhile. I also looked at the other slider sets here to make some comparisons.

    I have come to a final conclusion on the cpu pitch movement: I cannot go any higher than 50. At 55 I was popping everything up - and that was 5 games in which this happened, and I never hit a HR. I noticed that on all levels of the default slider sets (even on Legend setting) the cpu never takes this above 50 (so I kinda think it was dumb even putting that in the game as an option).

    So hopefully guys who are using these enjoy them.

      A few updates to the page 1 / post 1 - MLB 2K13 slider set. Small things, but I believe they are necessary.

        I just started to use MK sliders for 13 on page 1. Any reason for the difference in User/CPU baserunning speed? If I remember correctly most of the past sets had these set to the same number.

          Because the cpu is slower than Moses on the basepaths. I was gunning down guys like crazy, even the occasional rocket to RF - gun him down at 1st base throw. I LOVE this setup...but that's just me. At the end of the day, YOU choose what makes it fun!

            I think the set is great. The CPU will punish you most every time you miss. I imagine there is nothing you can do to allow a pitcher to throw more of his best pitch w/o going into red? I like to mix it up but at times the system seems a bit on the penal side.

              yeah, regarding the pitches going red - I've seen that with so many of them, not just the created guys (though it seems worse with them). I should have clarified something in the prior post:

              The cpu running game needed some kind of fix. What I THINK I've found is this: by upping their base running speed (without making it ridiculous) guys WILL take chances on the bases, BUT they will be SMART about it.

              What I was seeing before is that I had to raise the baserunning AGGRESSION - BUT by doing that, I saw a LOT of DUMB baserunning mistakes. And I was gunning guys down, especially trying to make triples on routine doubles.

              But when I raised the speed (withOUT lowering aggression) I saw what looked like an arcade game. So the new set provides a beautiful balance, where I've even seen guys thinking about making the turn BUT will go back because it seems as if the AI knows now NOT to send them.

              So I didn't mean to come across earlier as a jerk... I was just really busy when I posted that and I should have provided clearer clarification...

                No you're good. I understand what 2k was trying to do by penalizing the overuse of certain pitches but it might be a bit overdone. All in all it plays a great game of baseball. I guess they weren't making enough money on the game to continue but it sucks they stopped making it. The roster updates are great hope you guys don't get sick and tired of doing it. 2k gets the most play on my 360.

                  One change to the page 1 / post 1 MLB 2K13 set - I ended up lowering cpu baserunning speed down to 30 (from 35). Found that some routine double play balls were not happening, including one that was a rocket to 3B that should have clearly been two.

                    I added a couple more changes. I'm looking at a 15 user contact with a 65 user power. I'm finding that with the contact at 20, I can easily get 12-15 hits. BUT, if I lower power to 55, it's a bunch of weak popups.

                    So I experimented with the 15 / 65 setup, and I like what I'm seeing. I struck out 8 times, but thought the contact was MUCH more solid. I MIGHT (repeat: MIGHT) go with user power at 70. But I want to experiment a bit more.

                    Also, I raised user run speed a click up to 25. I should have beat out a play today: 3B had to dive far to has right, ranging deep in foul territory for a rocket. My 85 speed runner was gunned down by at least 2 steps...should have NEVER happened.

                    Now, the other option is to lower user throw power, but I'm not sure I want to go that route...

                    For anyone using these, double-check your numbers from page 1 / post 1 - top set. Thanks!

                      User Run Speed yeah. I have had a couple of guys thrown out at first on 2 hoppers to right field and the plays weren't even all that close.

                        A couple slight tweaks to the page 1 / post 1 MLB 2K13 set (top slider set). Small things, but again, more improvements. For those still playing along, double-check your numbers.

                          After playing the game for some time now one thing that I have found is that if you are going to use these sliders it is almost imperative that you use the pitching camera that is included on the slider set posted for MLB 2k12. With Use Pitcher Control set at 0 and composure set where it is in the sliders you need to use a camera that is at least similar to that. See how many good strikes you can throw with a zoomed out Broadcast cam and controller vibration set to off.
