Meaning what that one kid said. It only alters how the pitches are thrown when a pitcher is fatigued. If set at 100, every pitch would be as if the pitcher was fatigued. If at 0, every pitch would be as if he had 100 Energy left.

So I don't know why you guys are saying the slider effects how FAST a pitcher fatigues. When it doesn't.
This is a Global Slider. It affects both Pitcher Fatigue & the effectiveness of pitches once a pitcher is fatigued

Its really frustrating. I had a game where the CPU started gave up 6 runs, 4 of which happened in the 8th inning then we went into extra innings and the CPU starter was still pitching in the 11th inning.

Do you guys think that leaving the fatigue slider at 50 and increasing your stating pitchers stamina and durability will have an impact on the fatigue during games???

No...it's a broken feature of the game.

I had a game go 10 innings last night. starting pitcher was due up to bat (still in the game) and he took his at-bat. he pitched 10 innings, but I lost it on a walk off HR.

if you tinker with the stamina, all you're doing is making the pitcher worse. the game is coded to leave them in. the only way to truly fix this is to go through EACH team and lower the pitcher's individual stamina ratings. BUT, the fear I have in doing that is 1) it will take time and that sucks for me because I'm already giving up much of my life to work on the roster files I upload), and 2) what if (by a miracle) 2K suddenly decides to patch this and fix it??

Then I'd have to go through and re-do everything...

So this is a good game, but broken by some flaws that really do pull it down... we have to live with it, because there is NO fix to this no matter what anyone here might want us to believe...

If you did go through and change everyone's stamina, all you do is make a new roster file when you save it. So if they do patch it all you do is delete that one and load the file you didn't alter.

But to bigfnjoe, you can't change pitcher fatigue without changing his stamina. The slider doesn't alter his pitching cap. We already covered that in mk's slider thread.

And I already said that it changes the effectiveness of pitches when the pitcher is fatigued. It if bothers you that much, just use switch teams and pull the pitcher yourself after about 7-8 innings and what not.

LOL!!! Yeah, I got nothing better to do that re-rate a few hundred pitcher's pitching stamina attribute...

Sorry, not gonna happen...I have a life and I'm already getting heavy burnout from all the roster work I've done... That tires me out just thinking about it....

I know one thing. If a starter gets slammed hard and is pulled early, like the 2nd or 3rd inning, the reliever will pitch 4 or 5 innings. Actually, all relievers pitch a lot more innings than they did IRL.

Every pitcher pitches more innings than they did IRL. ^^

I know one thing. I'm getting pretty tired from changing sliders.

Pitch Count is more important than fatigue to the CPU when deciding to pull pitchers. Therefore wouldn't it be better to lower CPU pitch control, so they throw more balls?
