Well, I played a game with Reds vs. Pirates....

drew 14 walks, so I'll probably up the CPU pitcher strikes a bit. I like to draw walks, but they weren't close balls either...

Had one wild pitch/passed ball.... don't know if it was just the normal bug, or the fact that Paul Wison threw 4 walks in a row and really got rattled, their manager did come out and talk with him after he walked them loaded.

Other than that, seemed pretty decent...had 2 errors, but I AM the Pirates, so I'll see what better teams do. 1 was a play third when Oliver Perez had to cover it and the ball went past him, the other was a play at the plate where it was about 2 feet over Santiago's head.

    AI Throw Strike Overall: 31
    AI Throw Strike Ahead: 32
    AI Throw Strike Behind: 29

I'll probably change to like 40, 37, and then throw strike behind in the count to like 48 or something.

Yeah, as I'm playing, I think I'll change it so that they swing more and hit more, but then lower their Skill just a LITTLE bit.

Blzer -- I tried your sliders last night and I really like the CPU Throw Strikes & Balls numbers you came up with. Those were maybe the most realistic pitcher-batter duels I've had in a BB video game. I felt I could afford to be selective at the plate and ended up drawing a decent number of walks, something I never do ;-) Very cool. I'm going to focus on your CPU Take Strikes & Balls numbers today and see how they play. Thanks.
