Or better yet, use their Pro Yakyuu Spirits engine to make a multiplatform MLB game.

Do what I did 3 years ago and start saving now for a PS3 and MLB The Show. It was worth every penny, especially the rosters churned out by the OS community and one Mr. M.K. Knight165

I usually don't buy baseball games anyway. So it's not really going to bother me all that much.
          NCAA: Minnesota, Minnesota St-Mankato
          NBA: Wolves
NHL: Minnesota North Stars (undefeated since 4/16/93), Wild
          MLB: Twins, Dodgers
          NFL: Vikings
          MLS: Minnesota United
          Premier League: Manchester United

Microsoft owns the rights to High Heat. Just slap some updated graphics and rosters on it and release it as an XBL game next season.

Man, I'd love that one! High Heat (at least on the PC) was a great series. A new generation of High Heat would be awesome (and a great idea to take advantage of the huge 360 crowd)

Maybe the Show 13 could be on the xbox.

I expected EA Sports to return with MVP Baseball I don't want MLB The Show to become stale & stagnent. We need more baseball videogames. Competition brings out the best in you & I have hope that EA Sports will deliver a great MVP Baseball game sometime when the next gen consoles arrive.

Sad news for me because NBA 2K is the only game I really play consistently and I am a XBOX guy. I don't like either of EA's football games and I am not into soccer or hockey. With EA taking over UFC I don't trust that anymore and it will probably not be a yearly thing just like Fight Night who I am lukewarm on. I would like a baseball game but is it really worth buying a console for when the consoles probably only have another 2-3 years on there lifespan. I don't think so. I like the idea of Microsoft bring High Heat back if EA is not coming back with MVP. I need a game but I am not going to buy a new system just for the Show because frankly I think it is slightly overrated because it has basically had no legit competition for years.

Again, I found the previous versions of MVP to probably be the most overrated sports games in the history of sports gaming, but I think it's very disheartening to see both PC and Xbox gamers out of luck when it comes to baseball games.

I understand the business argument for exclusivity when it comes to sports games, I really do, but it's the consumer who has suffered in this age of exclusives.

                          I agree.....totally.

But I would also like to add(not that you need to hear this bk ) that SCEA never and I doubt would ever just "mail it in" regardless of competition.
They are such a hard working group of devs who love their product and user base.

Yeah I never could get into MVP's system of using "golf meters" for everything.

I much prefer the Konami style of baseball games where the button commands are minimal and everything is determined by the player ratings and abilities.
