Yep, I have the graphical choppiness that plagued last year's game. I have a Radean 9600 XT 128RAM. I know last year lowering your monitor refresh rate to 60 and either turning on or off (can't remember) Vertical Sync in the in game options helped. I tried both of the above things and its still choppy. Plus the above mentioned grass textures are there.

Same here with the choppiness, I even think it's worse than last year. Radeon 9800 pro here, have tried the most recent drivers and also rolled back no change. I thought the game producer said they had fixed this problem in the interview by removing base coaches?????

I just got the game about half an hour ago, and I started up a game, and the first couple of innings the grass had this weird flicker to it, maybe cuz my TV is garbage, but after about the 3rd inning it went away for whatever reason.

Runner on first, no outs, I'm batting. Ground ball to Thome. He lunges to get the ball. His momentum carries him into foul territory. He proceeds to stand there and do nothing. He didn't run to first or throw to second. The pitcher looked like he thought the ball was foul and broke to cover first late. Runners safe. Thome did not dive and was only 2 steps from 1st in foul territory when he stopped.

Only thing I've seen so far.

I dont know if this is considered a glitch... but through 2 games... I've been picked off 4 times because the pitcher will do a pickoff a split second after your batter gets set at the plate so your not even expecting a pickoff to come that fast.


It just seems like the pitcher does his pickoff move right as you arrive at the plate to bat which kind of leaves you at an unfair advantage.


Edit: I'm just going to fix this by putting "Pickoff Returns" at Auto.

Oy, I didn't know what that option meant. I will now turn that on too. I got caught napping too many times.

My bug that I found, and it's most likely not a bug (just my ignorance). Manny on first, Ortiz batting. Ortiz slams the ball on the ground right at the first baseman. He steps on first (I think), and then they get Manny (me) in a rundown. He gets caught eventually, but while I'm running back and forth I see Ortiz still run out his hit. Why would he be running it out if he was out immediately?

I have played about 5 games... and this game (my 6th) for the first time I'm seeing this.... the ball is always red.



No I don't mean for the hitters eye... the ball is red no matter what pitch and even when its in the field. Hopefully it goes away... I'll update if it does.

Yea, read the impressions man. there has been some huge lefty homers and stolen bases.

Stolen bases are crazy. I used to be able to pick the CPU off every time in 2003, but not now. They get great leads and pick the right pitch a lot of the time. It probably didn't help that in my first dynasty game I screwed up batting order with fielder position and had Renteria catching. He couldnt throw anyone out and the Yanks ran all over me.

And here's the requisite I-hit-a-lefty-HR remark: Big Papi, baby. Long gone. So far its my only HR, rightie or leftie, on allstar mode.

Found this to be a funny glitch, not game killing.

I was playing a game against the Giants and had to bring in a reliever from the Pen. I did and struck out the batter and the camara switched to someone on my bench.....It was the pitcher that was on the mound cheering for himself lol.

must of been his twin brother, anyways I love this game much more this year than last year.

Put this in the PC glitch department:

Not sure if this is showing up across the board or whatever, but all grass in my version of the game is extremely "noisy" and flickering really hard during the introduction of the game. When they are panning across the field, the grass looks like its animating, when obviously it shouldn't be. This is happening in all stadiums.

Is anybody else experiencing this problem on PC? I have an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128 MB (fairly high end card) and am running the game on 1280x1024 32 bits...

I am not sure but that could have something to do with cooperstown mode deal. Let me know please.
