Is your manager getting ejected from the game. If so then you lose control of your club for the most part. The first day I had the game I accidentally hit the "b" button during a replay and Phil Garner left the dugout the argue balls and strikes. He was ejected and the computer took over all of my managerial moves. Lesson learned!
