I've been using Pared's sliders for nearly a month into my Dynasty. So far, I am really enjoying them and appreciate the work thats gone into them. Some things I have started to make adjustments on are the outfielders speed (both CPU and Human) and CPU swing frequency. I believe I will aslo adjust the CPU/HUM throwing speed and accuracy.

What I have done so far is this:

Lower Hum/Outfielder Speed to -5.
Lower CPU Swing Frequency to -30

I want to lower the Hum/CPU Thrw Spd and Acc a few notches. In my last game against the Reds, Milton Bradley and J.D. Drew threw out 3 runners at homeplate and 1 runner at third (CPU was going for a triple so I suppose I don't mind all that much about this one). However, I believe gunning out three runners at the plate when they have runners in scoring position is a bit high. So I figure to lower it.

These are just some adjustments I made but was wondering your guys opinions on the matter? Or these partifcular parts to the sliders.

Thats sounds pretty good actually...just about right. I will have to try these settings today in a couple of games. I have the OF speed at -5 and INF speed at -6 but I will make these adjustments today, see how they pan out. With the throw accuracy and speed that low, are you still capable of throwing out runners at third and home from the outfield?

Yes, I haven't had any problems with that at all. As a matter of fact, what the sliders have done is increase offline throws and enable me to mainly only nail a runner with an OFer with a strong arm. At default I was nailing guys right and left. Also, I have no problems turning DP's in the infield with these settings. All it basically does is give a better advantage to a faster runner, which is what I want to happen. I should not be able to throw a runner out at home who's trying to score from 2nd on a single unless the ball put in play is a bullet, and that's pretty much how it's playing out. If it's a "regular" single, they score way more often than not, and sometimes when I think I've got the guy, the throw will send the catcher up the line and let the runner sneak in when I thought I had him dead to rights. Let me know how it goes for you.

pared where are your new up dates for mvp baseball 2005,you'been a stranger, i see u spend alot of time posting sliders for mlb 2006 why so much time on mlb2006, don't u know the best baseball game this year is mvpbaseball 2005, im sure u know that?all of us baseball fans are waiting for your updated sliders because of your good reputation.

The contact and power settings you are using proves my point about you not having a clue. You don't want a "real" game. You want an arcade game to play while you sit there in your silk thong.

you a funny guy!!! everything you post has a thong word in it,, u got some thong issues??? anyway back to my point on my last post i was asking for pared updated sliders because everyone says he's good because of his reputation i wiil like to try them and see for myself i tried his other versions,but those sliders are not for me.i need something a little more realistic in gameplay so i was hoping he made adjustments on his updated sliders,and when they will be posted?i use my own sliders (steven's keppin it real sliders) they give me close to realistic results, i allso must give wilson10 sliders credit to his are very good also ,they also give close to realistic results.i only wanted pared's updated sliders to compare them to mine,and wilsons10 sliders because im debated which one's to start my season.
as of my mamma's thong issue, i know u needed some underware to borrow so i lend u my mamma's, make sure u wash them when u bring them back
just my thoughts,,,on feedback on your last post, i guess were both funny guys now.. hit me back with a reply..

And withregards to your post before that. Maybe Pared thinks MLB is the better game.
