    Last All-Star spot.

Anybody voting? I only voted in the NL part for Brandon Webb.
There is no place like Nebraska
    Dear old Nebraska U.
Where the girls are the fairest,
    The boys are the squarest,
Of any old school that I knew.
There is no place like Nebraska,
    Where they're all true blue.
    We'll all stick together,
    In all kinds of weather,
    For Dear old Nebraska U!

Won't change this signature until Nebraska wins the National Championship...posted 8/16/05

        Re: Last All-Star spot.

How Roy Oswalt doesn't get EVERY vote on the NL side is beyond me. We're talking about the guy with the most wins in the group, the best ERA among the starters, a guy who finished 3rd in the CY YOUNG voting last season AND HAS NEVER BEEN AN ALL-STAR!!!

If either Wagner or Hoffman had more K's than innings I'd be more impressed, but for me it's a no-brainer. Oswalt.

Oh, and Oswalt has a whip of 1.07 compared to Webb's 1.32...

how strange is it to see derek jeter in the last man voting....he's always seemed to be a fixture at the all star game

torii hunter being on the list surprises me too, but i haven't been following baseball too closely this year

Complete game victory for Oswalt today.

An even more sizable lead in wins, ERA and whip over Webb and Myers.

Have I mentioned that in spite of being a 20 and a 19 game winner in his career he's never been an all-star. Just food for thought.

Yeah it is kinda weird not seeing Jeter in the all star game.

It is kinda wierd to see a guy who is batting sub par.300, and got 40 SBs, best team in the league not in the game!!!

Not to discredit him, but he should have a complete game victory against a lineup that featured 5 backup players.

Isn't Matsui on the ballot for the last spot ? If so, I say him.
