0 homeruns? Give me a break. The steroid era is over.

yes but 0 homeruns is 0 homeruns in any era.

Podsednik is a less talented white version of Vince Coleman.

Homeruns aren't everything but I would take a guy with 18 homeruns and a better average over Podsednik, sorry but stolen bases aren't as important as homeruns.

.335 slugging percentage? I thought the dead ball era was over.

No homeruns aren't everything. OBP is pretty important. So is slugging, runs scored, batting average. Podsednik isn't impressive in any of those.

I voted for him because I felt his speed added the most to the AL squad for the 30th man, a position which typically doesn't play, but I wouldn't say he earned it.

If by "America's son" you mean Jeter, then I'm not sure what your point is since I voted for Matsui. He has the best numbers out of anyone on the list.

Having someone with that much speed, makes it harder on the defense, and the pitcher, which goes unnoticed in "stats".

When Podsednik is on base, .360 OBP, he causes problems that helps the rest of the lineup.

Yeah...those 41 stolen bases wouldn't be an asset at all!

he has no power that cancels him out as a player hes a good player not an all-star. It's just my opinion I don't think he would be as valuable as travis hafner either.
