A decade later with all the steroids ramblings anyone think the league is telling Barry to stay out of the lime light so this can somehow die down... Kinda like the way the NBA did with Jordan?

Does anyone think Barry is serving his suspension now?
People say that when Jordan retired in 1994-1995, he didn't do it because he wanted to pursue a Baseball career, rather he did it because the league pressured him to do so because of his gambling problems and the people he was associated with.

No.
Even with BB being injured, there's still roids talk around him. Doctors have said he's injured. There's no reason for me to believe otherwise.Comment

I'm just going to throw this out there...He was tested for Steroids about 2 months ago and the results were never thrown out there. Maybe they're examining his extremely closely, but I would think that they would have said something one way or the otherComment

Excellent point LH, and I think eithe the league or the Giants may be exaggerating the severity of the injury so it seems like he needs to miss the rest of the season.Comment

I think his only suspension is that his body is breaking down because he's off the juice.
And no MJ did not get suspended for gambling. I know that's a fun theory for some, but it really has no validity.PSN: JISTIC_OS

I don't know if Bonds has ever taken steriods, but I do know one thing, I have put on 50 pounds in 8 years. It is called getting older lol. Barry got big over 8 years not over one year. Also keep in mind Bonds is 41 years old. When you get older recovery time is longer. I know that first hand. Each time I get hurt it takes longer to heal. My friend thought maybe he was serving a suspension. If that was the case I think it would have leak already.
The thing that sucks is you never know.Comment

Originally posted by Longhorn6Yeah, I'm just saying you'd think they would have had a huge "Barry Does/Doesnt Test Positive For Steroids!" Breaking News Bulletin, so it's possible.
Does anyone know exactly how long it takes for them to process one of these tests?Comment

Barry is injured, MJ wasn't. No way Barry would sit out this close to Hank Aaron. My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

I don't think there is any way Bonds could be serving his suspension now (if he were even suspended) for two reasons:
- Part of the new drug policy is that player's names are released
- Bonds in on the DL and I'm pretty sure players can't serve suspensions while they're also on the DL."Darth Vader doesn't cry, Peter."
