    It wouldn't be tied since you would have a make up game vs the White Sox. That game could very well decide the fate of the AL East.

        True, but in a perfect world it'd be tied heading into the final 3-game series, winner take all.

                Could there be a tie between the Red Sox, Yankees, and A's. What kind of a tiebreaker would result from that the AL EAST DIVISION/AL WILD CARD

                        As much as I hate to say it, after the suffering I've endured (not to mention my dad) because of the Sox, I wouldnt bee too suprised.

                        But I see them making it to the ALCS at least this year.

                            The East would be decided by who won the season series between the Sox/Yankees, the other would have to play a 1 game playoff against the A's.
