I did and I hated him back then as well!!

There's no doubt that Bonds is an amazing player regardless of the steroid issue though. However, I've never liked his attitude and probably never will. I know many have met him and say he's been very nice. That's fine, but I also met him on a few different occassions back when he was with the Pirates and he was a jerk every time. Maybe he's changed? I don't know. I just know what I saw.

True, I might him once and he was a jerk. But on the otherhand imagine being him and everybody wanting to talk to you and meet you. It is not easy being famous.

Because he hopes to put in a full year in the outfield in 2006, Barry Bonds intends to go from 228 pounds to 200 in the offseason. Doctors have told Bonds he must lose weight to protect his fragile right knee. He may lose some strength when the weight goes -- he hasn't played at 200 pounds in at least 10 and probably closer to 15 years -- but if he's a lesser player, he should be pitched too more often. He's probably going to put up big numbers for as long as he can stay in the lineup.
