Good win for the Halos. Glad to see them doing well. This series is still far from over. Chacon pitched pretty well for the Yanks down the stretch I believe.

You know the Yanks were bummed they drew the Angels. The Halos have traditionally played well against NY, and they are one of the few teams that have no fear or aren't intimadated by playing in Yankee Stadium.

Agreed, had seen it all unfold in old town pasadena tonight on Colorado blvd (Barneys Pub). It was insane in there tonight. Agree as well about the Halo's having no fear of the Yanks.

Yeah, the Yankees definitely got the worse of the two draws. But again, as BK said, this is far from over. The Yankees will be the Yankees, with their aura, anything can happen.

Johnson had no movement on his pitches. It was like batting practice for the angels.
This series will go 5. The yankees had a good chance to be up 2 - 0 and that could come back to haunt them. But i still think the yankees will win it in 5.

Yea, Yankees really blew it in game 2. Errors cost them the game. It now looks even worse since Randy laid an egg.

I think the Yankees will win game 4 with Chacon on the mound. I'm far less confident we can beat Colon again in game 5 though.

Game 4 has been postponed until tomorrow night.

Meaning the Angels will most likely bump Colon up to game 4, and Lackey to a possible game 5.

                This postponement KILLED the Yanks.

If we played today... Shields wouldnt've been available... Donelly would've been limited... and K-Rod would have been limited.

Now this lets Colon pitch 4 and Lackey 5 making things even worse.

Now whats everyones opinion on what Torre should do with the rotation? He's already said he's most likely leaving things the way they are but personally I'd pitch Mussina tomorrow and Chacon Monday or maybe Even RJ on Monday. Johnson only threw I think like 55 pitches so he could be available if Torre gets crazy enough.

And by the off chance we do win the series... we will have gone from NY to LA on Sunday nigth to play a Mon night game... then from LA to Chicago on Monday night to play Tues and Wed night. Thats 4 straight games in 3 different spots.

I'd keep the rotation as it is now. I'd rather have Mussina in a possible game 5 than Chacon because of his experience.

Angels are staying with the plan of Washburn for game 4.

The Yankees are sticking with Chacon (Dunno if they would have started Mussina in his place had he not been in Anaheim)

                    from Rotoworld.com
“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried. We’re talking about on the biggest stage, in New York, playing out of position and asked to hit fourth for the New York Yankees. I mean, that’s never been done.” - Sheffield on Sheffield

Chacon pitching well so far, 2 K's in the first inning.

Terrible call by the umps on the "foul ball" by Posada.

No idea, probably someone who was not involved in any other decision the last few years.
