    Re: First Trade

Burroughs has no excuse for not being able to hit after his fourth year in the league. He's still hitting weak fly balls to left field, he isn't trying to pull the ball. He is a victim of the Padres overhyping a young prospect yet again. His power will not come with his approach, and it's quite pitiful that he can't hit home runs when his dad who was smaller than him hit more in his rookie season than Sean has in his career.

Plus, Sean is injury-prone. Each year he seems to miss a good portion of the season due to a hamstring injury.

Oh. interesting. Considering how Jeremy reed performed after call up and then the entirety of last year, I wouldn't be suprised if Zimmerman has some rookie woes. However, if he can be as good defensively as Reed was, it won't really matter.

I'm sure the Nationals will sign someone who can fill in at Third from time to time to take some of the pressure off Zimmerman. Now if they trade Cristian Guzman they will be headed in the right direction.
