Re: D-Backs looking to ship Glaus to Jays or Red Sox
I don't like it how Glaus will be the new 3B. If Koskie's still on the roster by opening day he should be at the hot corner. Koskie is superior to Glaus in terms of D.
JP also mentioned Glaus will be hitting clean-up with Wells and Overbay either batting 3/5 or 5/3. Mentioned Shea will be hitting behind those 3 guys and Adams and Cat will be at the top of the order. He didn't mention Koskie's name at all.
He said the Jays payroll is at 72 mil right now so there's still 3 million left.
JP also said the Jays could keep all the infielders (although I doubt this will happen).
So I'm guessing the batting order will look like this:
1. Adams
2. Cat
3. Wells
4. Glaus
5. Overbay
6. Hillenbrand
7. Hill
8. Zaun
9. Rios
I'm be glad to never see Hillenbrand or Koskie batting clean-up again as long as Glaus stays healthy.Comment

I was watching a report on the Score and the reporter said JP is gonna call Eric Hinske and tell him that he'll be playing some 1B but also ask him if he'll want to try playing some LF. That my friends would be a disaster in the making.
that we don't see him roaming the OF.

SN had a report and played a few clips from the O-Dog. He's a class act and mentioned how great the Jays were going to be next season and how great the city of Toronto and the fans were.
I wish O-Dog nothing but the best. Too bad the D-Backs don't visit Rogers Center next season. I have a feeling he would recieve a standing ovation.Comment

I take all of JP's comments now with a grain of salt. According to him, we were never interested in Glaus and Burnett. My guess is that this is a feeble attempt to increase Eric's trade value.Comment
