Who'd-a-thunk-it“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried. We’re talking about on the biggest stage, in New York, playing out of position and asked to hit fourth for the New York Yankees. I mean, that’s never been done.” - Sheffield on Sheffield -

And Arroyo is pitching well so far, too. So far, so good for the Reds..."You can not ensure success, but you can deserve it." - John Quincy Adams

Re: Arroyo-2, Wily Mo-0
Wily Mo may be -1 but he provides nice unintentional comedy.
Besides giving the Cat a 2 run HR, here are his comments about the mock cheers he recieved after catching 2 fly balls:
“That was incredible,” he said. “It gave like more energy to me. They’re happy here, whatever you do.”
That's just Wily Mo being Wily Mo!Comment

That's just Wily Mo being Wily Mo!If Wily Mo keeps striking out at the rate he is he won't be as excited about Red Sox fans response. Another week or two of this and he'll be getting the Mark Bellhorn treatment.

I kid, I kid.
I'm happy to see Arroyo doing as well as he is, though. It bodes well for his success. A win is a win, especially in spring. If he keeps it up, the double digits are not far out of reach. I still expect a high ERA in the end, but I think with him on the mound and what offense they do have, that he could win enough games to prove that he's not just some "fluke".Comment
