I do find this funny, because when I said how was Clemens able to do what he is doing at his age! lol People just laugh, but I still think this is how it is going to be. We are in the roid era. It is getting better, but it is still there.

these guys are in the MLB because they can hit the ball. Steroids make it go much further. Not to mention all the other benefits of steroids.

Not a chance. The majority of the country still says that he's should be in the HOF. Bonds, no way. So yes there is a double standard. To me they're both cheats.

Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds will forever be the faces of the steroid era. Neither will be in the Hall of Fame as a result.

I agree...and this isn't a race thing, it's a "Barry is a kinda different guy that people don't really know and like" vs. Roger being a fan favorite thing. Sucks though, I want Clemens to suffer as much as Bonds is.

It really says something about the state of baseball when your top hitter and top pitcher are using illegal substances.

If Clemens gets into HOF, so should Bonds. No BS about who broke the more sacred record or any other excuse. Both did steroids, both deserve equal criticism.
