I have a question, seeing that Cuban is basically based in Texas, how come he doesn't have any interest in the Texas teams?

If I were him i'd rather buy the Pirates just because the Cubs are cursed

I'd love it if he bought the Pirates. With that ballpark, the team's history and a city with great sports fans, they deserve an owner that will hire the right people and spend the money to make them competetive again.

Doesn't matter... He'd probably be more inclined to purchase the Pirates since that's his hometown team... There are a number of owners who don't necessarily reside in the area where their team performs... Bob Johnson, the owner of the Charlotte Bobcats, comes to mind... I understand he has a condo in uptown Charlotte, but I doubt he spends a lot of time in the Queen City... And about the "curse", I would think that might be a draw to a dude like Cuban... He seems like the kind of cat that would thumb his nose at the notion of something being cursed, or irretrievably broken.

Theyre cursed with poor ownership/management. Thats it in a nutshell. It has nothing to do with anything else.
