    All-Time "favorites" team

Ok we've had all time greatest teams, i've seen some even put up teams of all time players from what they've seen etc etc.

Let's have a little fun and do a "favorites" team. You know, guys who you liked for some reason or another. They may not have been superstars or even if they were they weren't huge superstars for the majority of their careers. They can be guys who were mostly utility players or whatever but the key is they have to be a favorite of yours for some reason or another (but not solely on superstardom)

    C: Charlie O'Brien
    1B: John Kruk
    2B: Ray Knight
    SS: Craig Grebeck
    3B: Howard Johnson
OF: Andy Van Slyke, Omar Moreno, Jacob Brumfield
    DH: Ken Hamelin

    WHOOPS! Forgot SP and Closer

    SP: Charlie Leibrandt
    CL: Darren Hall

    Ok your turn

    DH: Fred McGriff

I'm young, so I don't quite have favorites that weren't exactly "in my time".

C: Ivan Rodriguez - A joy to watch at the plate and behind the plate.
1B: Mark McGwire - Admired more of the skinny Oakland version than the roided up St.Louis version.
2B: Delino Deshields - In his prime he was the speed personified.
SS: Ozzie Smith - How can you not enjoy watching Wiz?

LF: Rickey Henderson - Best lead off hitter of all time. Period.
CF: Ken Griffey Jr. - The best looking homerun swing of all time.
RF: Jose Canseco - Roids or not, the bash brothers were fun to watch.

SP: Dave Stewart - As you'll noticed this is my fourth late 80's Oakland A's player...

CL: Dennis Eckersley - ...make that five.
