      It's not like he should have a choice anyway. It's the managers decision. Also Javy's defense at catcher has been HORRIBLE. Almost Matt Lecroy horrible at this point of his career (18 out of 22 baserunners have stolen a base on him). Javy's being delusional...there's no reason why he should be playing catcher or starting at 1B at this point of his career (horrible defense plus a line that looks like this: .268/.314/.412. He would be just about the worst 1B in the league with those stats. And at catcher that's decent but it doesn't make up for his horrid defense.)

      Personally, I'm glad he's gone. What a horrible contract....
