Great player seasons that went unnoticed:

I was just looking at a few players numbers, now that the season is over that really surprised me. A lot of them I was aware of but the player didn't get much national attention for whatever reason, but some of them I didn't realize were that good. Add more that you were surprised to find out about as well.

    Adam LaRoche

    .285 avg, 32 hr, 90 rbi, .561 slg, .915 ops

Chipper put up some nice numbers, too, considering all the games he missed (.324 avg, 26 hr, 86 rbi, 1.000+ ops).

I actually found it hard to leave Laroche and Cuddyer off my picks.

          Both were great.

It's definately Ibanez. He's the most underrated player in the league. When you think of the M's you think of Ichiro and King Felix. He's a solid player, and should've been an All-Star.

Oh, since Travis Hafner didn't even make the AS team, he should probably get a mention.

                            Tell me about it

Anyways two Blue Jays who had very nice seasons

Alex Rios: .302 AVG, 17 HR, 82 RBI, .349 OBP, 516 SLG (too bad he missed a chunk of the year.)

Lyle Overbay: .312 AVG, 22 HR, 92 RBI, .372 OBP, .508 SLG with 46 doubles

These stats are up to yesterday. ESPN hasn't added today's stats yet.
