    Roster question

I love some of the gameplay and graphic improvements to all the games, but here's a big question for me. Anyone know, or see yet, which of the games will allow you to update the rosters of every team during the season? I need to keep the rosters as exact as possible as I play, so if I'm doing a season with the Sox, I still need to be able to do a trade between the Yankees and Marlins. You couldn't in ASB last year, and it killed it for me.
    Thanks,
    Matt

    Re: Roster question

I'm just like you - the rosters must be dead on or its no fun. I've been playing High Heat (PS2) the last two years and it is the best. Plus this year, they are adding 2-for-1, 3-for-2, etc. trades.

In the interview for ASB, they said they will have roster updates via download.
What happened to the good ol days when you had to make the trades yourself?

I have that same feeling. No roster updates downloaded via XBL or PS2 online will ever be as good as the rosters updates that you do for yourself.

I mean we're straight up spoiled. there was'nt any roster updates on your genesis or SNES, plus I bet the majority of us did'nt even have the internet. So we had to do the rosters based of the newspaper. And it was'nt as hard either as it is now to trade. All you had to do back then was cut a player to make a roster spot, then trade the player over to the empty slot. Now you got Salary points and cap points and the CPU rejects everything you try to do. Its just nonsense.

                Just a ?
If you are going to play a franchise. Then why do you need roster updates since once you start your franchise the trades etc...are up to you...

                    Re: Roster question

because I need to be able to do the trades of the other teams....in other words, if I'm the Sox, and the yankees make a deal for Sosa, I need to be able to do it during the season.
