      That was clever.... he's been waiting almost 2 hours for someone to say Tony Hawk was made by Activision so he could reply with that comedic gem.

        Hard ball 3 was awesome for PC and Dick Butkus' football was cool too, both made by acclaim.

          Not to mention the original Quarterback Club layed the groundwork for polygonal players.... sure, Madden caught up 2 years later and never looked back, but that first one was the best of its time.

            Uhhhh, wasn't that Accolade that did Hardball and Dick Butkus?

            And Guru, exactly what groundwork did Acclaim lay with QB Club? The same year the first one came out on N64, so did Madden, and with polygonal models also. The only difference is that QB Club had exclusive rights to the NFL license that first year, so Madden couldn't use the real logos and teams. Ohh, and the other difference would be that QB Club sucked.

              I thought Sony's GameDay was the first football game to use polygonal models back on the original PlayStation.
