The pressure to go out and perform in Kansas City is nothing compared to having to justify his big contract on a big stage like pitching in Fenway or Yankee Stadium.Comment

I don't know, I've seen Meche go stretches before where he pitched very well and looked like he was on the verge of becoming a top notch starting pitcher before reverting to form. If I was a Royals fan I wouldn't pop the champagne corks just yet.
Still, the guy definitely has a live arm and I hated seeing him go, unlike the Pinata who I don't miss at all except on days when Jeff Weaver is on the mound.Comment
