Re: EB now has HH for the 18th

Beside Phillifan, I can't wait any longer, it has been too long since I had a baseball game to tear up, and I am like a kid, I have to have everything yesterday, my wife really loves that about me I love my Xbox, but when it comes to HH, a week might as well be a month. Besides, HH will keep me busy until WSB for Xbox, then it is baseball game bliss!!!!! Patience is not a virtue I was born with!

Wow, you are passionate. I love High Heat as much as the next guy also. Hey if PS2 meets all your needs, more power to you. That HDD feature on the XBOX really does it for me. Slightly faster loader times , sharper graphics (although I'm not so sure that the ps2/xbox version won't be a direct port). You do have a good point about roster updates. High Heat will not have any LIVE feature (correct me if I'm wrong), so the only way to get updated rosters will be through the sharkport, or mail a memory card to a roster creator for XBOX.

Waiting gives you.. Better graphics(some things are slightly better while other things like bumb mapping are lots better), better sound, multiple saves to harddrive(Franchises, seasons etc...) and once you start a franchise you don't need roster updates unless you want to start franchise over and over after every update. I also feel the controller S is a very nice controller.

I like the S controller as well, just not as much as the Dual Shock 2, maybe I have Dual Shock ******** hand or something. I personally am not a graphics whore, so as long as the game plays like HH on my PS2, I will deal with the graphical difference. I love the hard drive and the sound and all the little extras with Xbox, but a week is a week, is 7 days less than Xbox's HH release which=20 games or so!

                    I understand Jordanfan23
I don't want to buy more than 1 game this year and so it will be hard waiting for WSBB(the one I want to get). I'm just not sold on ASBB this year as it seems it is last years game with a couple tweaks and nothing more.
HH on the other hand is still on PC and will give me serious thoughts of getting it.

I gotta agree with Jordanfan. A week is a week, and the sooner the better. In a week, I will have plenty more games in than I would if I got HH for the Box (which I sadly don't have).

Of course, I don't even have an XBOX, so I wouldn't REALLY know, but if you want your baseball fix earlier, why not go with PS2?

                        PS: Skyboxer, congrats on 1000.

Yeah Skyboxer, I bought ASB again the other day b/c Blockbuster had it for 14.99 and it is presented very well, but the gameplay needs a little tweaking IMO, and according to the previews for this years version, they haven't done much to the gameplay. I am hoping WSB Xbox will be the ONE this year, but I couldn't forgive myself for not buying HH also!

Is there a big difference between PS2 and XBOX for this game?
