well thats the difference in people in california and alabama most here are still willing to do for others or look over stupid laws to help those in need.

I would be willing to bet had this happened in California that he would have just gotten the ticket.

Not if he just ignored the police officers command and proceeded to walk into the terminal.

You realise why he got arrested right? He was saying fuk the Law! Write a ticket I makes millions And I will pay it! That is jerk and most players are like that. It is just how it is.

Again, I am not saying that it was crappy that the police arrested Jake for that. You all are assuming that I'm merely backing a Padre who got arrested.

Look at the situation, he was on his way to a goodwill trip and this ends up happening. I say it's pretty crappy for someone to go on such a trip and to end up getting arrested on his way there. I'm not condoning Peavy's actions nor am I saying the Police was at fault. End of story.

And i already know why he got arrested. Hello I broke the story here.

Correct. Here the charge would probably be interferring with a police officer in the line of duty. Let's say he told Peavy he HAD to move his car and he just walked away, he get's arrested and charged with a misdemeanor. It's not a traffic ticket (infractio) anymore.

The disorderly conduct charge is something else altogether other than his double parking, which is a traffic ticket, or an infraction. I'm sure the disorderly conduct is a misdemeanor. He probably disobeyed the officers order.

Sorry. I misunderstood you in your first post. It seemed to me that you were trying to convey that it was a crappy thing for the POLICE to do to Peavy.

It's all good. Considering I posted this last night sometimes I leave out a few things on my post that it shows up different than what I intended it to be.

No harm no foul... but Jake better learn that San Diegans don't want him to be making the news with this type of stuff.
