The power swing and contact swing should both be there because it adds a real sense of realism to the game. Depending on the situation, most hitters will try to crush the ball untill they get one or two strikes, and then choke up and try to just make contact. I know that isnt the way all hitters approach the game, but like I said, depending on the situation, its nice to have that option to give up some of your "contact skill" to try to get more of a power swing.

I even more hated the "pressure-sensitive" one button swing that a game, I think TP had implemented...

a) I hit with the same pressure everytime
b) the weaker hitters are obviously gonna see more fat pitches than the big bats will

I played a season with the Indians, I had Thome with 3 Homers at the break and Vizquel had 27-30!
