Re: Which ballparks in baseball games do you like, hate
Parks I like :
1. Comerica park - Excellent Scoreboard , Light Towers , Grass , and ballpark design. Nice facade. Nice city site lines.
2. Camden Yards - Nice scoreboard , Love the warehouse ( fun trying to hit it in the hr derby ) nice grass , excellent facade , and brick work.
3. Jacobs Field - Excelent Iron work on the outside. love the wall in left, like the structure of the stands , like the standing room in left field above the wall. nice site lines into the city.
4. Wrigley field - Old time look ( it really is an old park! ) love the ivy , love the rooftop fans , love the light towers . Like the brick backstop.
5. Ballpark in Arlington - love the facade looks excellent outside. Like the idea of imitating other parks - Tiger Stadium in right field. Fenway in left , and Wrigley in centre.
6. PNC Park - Love the Light Towers , love the out of town scoreboard, nice city site lines , love the back stop ( Limestone )

Re: Which ballparks in baseball games do you like,
Truthfully, the only parks I've been to firsthand is the metrodome, 3riverstadium of the old pirates, Safeco field, and quaalcom field. Of these, i have to say that Safeco, by far is the greatest. The view of seattle and the space needle is awsome, as is the stadium structure, and the ambience.
I too can't stand baseball in domes, but lucky for us I think in this age of retractable roofs, we may seem the end of the dome in baseball in the future.Comment

Re: Which ballparks in baseball games do you like,
I'm new here but wanted to chime in on this one... I've been to PNC Park, 3 Rivers Stadium, Jacobs Field, Camden Yards, and Fenway Park. I would have to say that PNC and Camden Yards are neck and neck. Jacobs is nice. Fenway is great the first time you go. All the history is awesome. Then the more you go, the more you realize how much of a dump it is. Has to be one of the worst stadiums in baseball.MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates, Colorado Rockies
NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers
NHL: Pittsburgh Penguins
NBA: Denver Nuggets, Orlando Magic
NCAA: Penn State Nittany Lions, Boston College EaglesComment

Re: Which ballparks in baseball games do you like,
I agree about Fenway. First time I was there I was thinking "Wow...this is cool! Fenway Park!"
After a while, the thoughts turned to "Wow...this place is a hole. It really is this old"
Edit: Welcome to the board! Glad to see I'm not the only Bucs fan here. Your name might be a problem however“In my lifetime, we've gone from Eisenhower to George W. Bush. We've gone from John F. Kennedy to Al Gore. If this is evolution, I believe that in twelve years, we'll be voting for plants.” - Lewis BlackComment
