At this rate we may see Phillip Hughes in the Bronx very soon.

Yea, but not too soon. Just saw on BBTN that they are bringing up Chris Britton and according to this (http://cbs.sportsline.com/mlb/story/10128873) Hughes is not even second in order of call ups!

Chase Wright is coming up because he is already on the 40 man roster. The Yankees also want to be very careful with Hughes and don't want to rush him to the big leagues.

Well that sucks, but at least it's not like it's going to be a problem for the whole season...In a couple weeks, a month tops, Wang, Mussina, and Pavano will be back.

I'm surprised Britton wasn't already up there, he was great for the Orioles last year.

I can't help but like what's going on here, just because this makes it the Yankees situation worse. Bringing up Hughes soon is almost inevitable, who else do they have?

Britton didn't pitch so well in spring training so Brian Bruney beat him out for the final bullpen spot.

Yankees have a few pitching prospects in AAA now with Hughes, Tyler Clippard, and Russ Ohlendorf being the top 3. Chase Wright is their best AA pitcher who is being called up to start on Tuesday.

Orioles are now only about 5 Yankee season ending injuries away from competing with them!

I don't see anyone as good as Erik Bedard, Adam Loewen, or Daniel Cabrera on their pitching staff (save Andy Pettitte), so I beg to differ. This team actually is different than last year's. I know that's hard to believe, but it's actually true.

The thing about the Yanks is that they are never out of it because of their unique ability to make a large deadline deal.

I doubt Clemens would do much. I have a feeling he wouldn't do as well as some people would like to think.
