Honestly, the only reason people hate Bonds is because of his lack of cooperation with the media. People loved McGwire and Sosa because they were likable and never set themselves aside as outcasts.

But for the record, McGwire, though always being a pretty burly guy, pleaded the 5th when asked about his steroid use, which pretty much was a confession. And Sosa. . . well, he just corked his bat after they started testing for steroids. Neither one of those players broke the record legitimately either.

But look at Griffey and ARod? Neither one of them are hulking figures, they just know how to play the game and have sweet strokes. Honestly, when Bonds breaks the record, I honestly won't give a **** either way, however, I will definitely be rooting for one of the aforementioned players to eventually come on and break that record.

And one final note, anyone see how much muscle Pujols put on this offseason? I wouldn't be at all surprised if he took something either. ARod lost 12 pounds this year and is killing the ball. THAT is talent.

A Rod looks more solid too me. I am not saying he is on steroids, but he does looked pretty ripped. Like he lost some fat and tone down.

That's kind of just pitiful. You don't like him, so you hope he gets hurt.

It's sad. Really. I mean, if I was to say I don't like you and I hope you get in an accident and lose the ability to walk, everyone would look at me all crazy and call me evil.

But if it is an athlete...heh. Fair game. Right?
