Who is Chris Richards?

Just another note on Richards, his dad "invented" a pitching machine for use in your backyard (the one that launched the small plastic balls) that was advertised on TV and in TSN back in the late 90's. I remember what a big deal it was when Richards made the bigs because they attributed a lot of his hitting ability to his dad's machine.

My High School Psychology/Criminal Justice teacher told me not to pick up Cust. He said he played against him in HS and he wasn't that impresed. He said that eventually he would come back to earth and it looks like he has. Chris Shelton anyone?

Well he's still hitting .273 with 13 homers with a .407 obp.... I'd say overall, he's a much better hitter than Shelton.
