It is hitting the button of the base you want to throw to before you field the ball. ASB has always pushed this as a feature.

yea what cookusu said....i think its kinda cool because it makes the animation look smoother, though sometimes it can mess you up if you press the button to early and change your mind by the time you actually get the ball

so does wsb have this or just asb?

I think it is just an ASB thing. Which is fine as long as in the other games you get the response you want when you hit he button to throw, which last years HH and WSB seemed to do just fine. With ASB it's just an adjustment if you are used to the other games.

You saw it a little bit on a limited basis in wsb last year. When you charged a ball and pressed the button a little bit early then it would be a smoother animation. But not being able to do it was not a problem.
