Exactly, HH was the same way it was better to hit the button just before you caught the ball.

One bad thing was that you could not change your mind after hitting button. Example: A base hit to outfield..***nner going home ...I threw to 3rd base and used future throw to home...I did not notice a runner coming to third....if third baseman would just keep the ball the runner would be dead meat...instead he threw home with runner less that 5 or so feat away from him...both runners safe....
It's almost like the AI knows you used future throw..so they sent runner to 3rd.
