I dont think this kid is getting the attention he should be getting, he's a monster this year, and is on pace to hit a lot HR's. Does anything think the same thing?

Those of us who own him in fantasy leagues know exactly what he is doing. He deserves to start in the all star game, but I don't think he'll catch Pujols. I really don't watch Sports Center or Baseball Tonight anymore, so I can't comment on the attention he's being given. But he deserves it. -

Him and Hardy were getting some mention on ESPN when the Brewers were doing very well, and now that they've had a slight dropoff they get little to no mention. At least that's more than the Orioles got when they were leading the AL East in '05.Comment

He's right, though and he's saying what every Oriole fan (and probably every other fan) is thinking after years of watching 55% of the Baseball Tonight program dedicated to Boston and New York games.
Fielder has been playing great this year. Plus, he's on my fantasy team so it's even better.Comment

He did get a huge spread in SportingNews (I can't remember if he got the cover though.) The story turned out to be more about his relationship with his father. It was really interesting and sad IMO.University of Oregon

Fielder, unfortunately, is in the same situation as Jason Bay; great players on small market teams that get almost zero national attention.
Put either player on the Red Sox, Yankees or Mets and they would be household names all over the country.Comment

Well he's only been pwning for about a month now. Lots of players have had great months and then sucked. If he continues it up, he will get the recognition he deserves, because right now, he looks like he could hit 45-50 HR. And that would be just fine with me; I drafted him this year. Woot.Comment
