      He worked fast in the 9th, which is probably a good idea in a situation like that. That breaking ball was filthy, and his fastball clocked at 101 to the last batter he faced. Unreal.

          I listened to it on the radio, I had no idea he had a no-no until the announcer went nuts on the last out... I was also watching Rescue Me DVDs. This is amazing.

              Rod and Mario were the same way on TV, they were very careful not to say anything about it until Maggs caught the final out.

                          i didnt know anything about it until espn showed it on tv at the start of the 8th inning, congrats to verlander 1st no hitter in detroit since 1984 and the 1st one in Comerica Park
