The R-P-S is cool....one of the best games in the history of mankind. Play it alot, and you will understand.

The Now thing, though, has been killing me since i heard about it....it is so ridiculous that I don't know what to say. That fans vote on it is doubly silly...
    Australian Rules Football...just sayin'

If they insist on putting mindless crap on ESPN why can't it at least be something you can get behind like competitive drinking or womens bikini pudding wrestling...

They have a tournament set up where some of their anaylysts debate who has the best combination of onfield performence and off field buzz. And then theres also a viewer vote component. Its one of the dumbest things ever seen on television. Its really painful to even see them promote it.

BTW, I have yet to see something that I can say is definitively worse than sending Jeremy Schaap to Iceland to ambush/interview Bobby Fischer as he was getting off the plane after being detained by Japan.

OK I did see them promote it a bit when I was in New York...Yeah seems like a stupid premise because people are just going to vote on name recognition only.

Well, actually it's intrinsically stupid. But you might be right on how people will vote being another reason.

The fact that people take it seriously enough to vote is terrible in itself...

They should only have Karl Ravech and Gammons on there, when Gammons isn't there just show highlights the entire show.

Actually Karl Ravech isnt all that great but next to Kruk, he doesnt look as bad. The other day he made some crack about there being no traffic in Denver as a reason for the Rockies having success against NY teams. He made a remark like its sticksville. Ask Denverites and all the California transplants if theres no traffic. The guy is on a network that pretends to be a national network (it calls itself the worldwide leader) and he pops off like that.
BTW, I saw Steve Berthiaume scolding Orel Hershiser last night on the air about being unprepared. Totally inappropriate. Hershiser is actuall a content guy and adds a lot about pitching. He needs to back off.

Anything that involves Billy Martin is worth at least a look.

One of my favourite actors is in it.

Too bad I don't have ESPN. Hopefully it comes out on DVD and I can buy it.

I'm sure it will show up online somewhere. I hope it doesn't let you down, I have heard some really mediocre reviews.

I am. I actually wish ESPN would do more of this. Hopefully,Steinbrenner doesn't complain about it the way the NFL complained about Playmakers.
