ESPN has hit a new low.

Anyone watching Baseball Tonight right now will know why.

    This...is a disgrace.

What was it? Probably had something to do with the Yankees-Mets series.

They're doing The Price Is Right guessing player's salaries.

That intro was a lowpoint in the history of the world.

Seeing Tim Kurkjian, Eduardo Perez and Orestes Destrade running around like those hyperactive crazies on the Price is Right is something I could've done without.

Personally that intro is right up there with those faux press conferences Steve Phillips did a couple years ago.

They did this on NFL Live today as well. I guess they consider this paying a homage to Bob Barker.

It's not as bad as NFL Live is in the offseason. My god, that is terrible. They always have these hypothetical situations which are ridiculous. Two that I remembe of the top of my head are...

              1. What if Reggie Bush had stayed for his senior season at USC, would you draft him ahead of Calvin Johnson?

              2. If LeBron played in the NFL, what position would he play?

Who cares? Neither situation is applicable to the NFL.

I hate how ESPN has tried to stretch their NFL coverage year round. Ugh.

Actually, I kinda liked it. I mean yeah it was corny and goofy, but it was on at midnight on a Friday. Besides, they were paying homage to Bob Barker. That can't be bad, right?

If they really wanted to pay tribute to Barker, they could just neuter Kruk.

Yeah, this is much worse, I think. I bet you they would say Lebron could play any position and dominate cause he's such a great athlete....

everything is like this. There's so much crazy useless stuff on all of the 15 ESPN channels. They also keep such crazy statistics that im amazed sometimes when i watch it.

The anchor's also are crazy. They say some pretty wild stuff and get rather excited. But i still love it and watch it.

Each program like Baseball Tonight and NFL Primetime needs a wise anchor to balance out the nutjobs. I think Kurkjan and Gammons can do that with Kruk around, but it's usually the foolish Buster Olney, now. Steve Phillips should probably stick with color commentating and stay away from Baseball Tonight. I should say it's rather funny to watch Kurkjan get annoyed with Phillips every now and then.

Baseball Tonight hasn't been the same since Harold Reynolds got canned. Who the heck is Orestes Destrade? Bring back Harold!

i stopped watching ESPN a few weeks ago. their #1 play of the day was ARod's granny vs. the White Sox. It wasn't a game winner. It didn't tie the game. It only added insurance runs. How is that a #1 play? BS.
