Not a great week for Orioles fans

First off, I love the tradition, history, and stadium of the Orioles so I'm not bashing them as the obnoxius (SP?) Yankee fan...

First Girardi says no and now Tejada on the DL for the first time in his career. Tough break for them (and me since he's my SS on my fantasy team). This organization should be competing with the big boys. I hope they turn it around.

With Angelos owning the team, they'll never turn it around.

Not a great week? They beat the Padres in a three game series and Jay Payton took it to his former team. I'd call that a great week for Oriole fans.

Hey, they may have lost Tejada to injury, but at least they're getting Ramon Hernandez back!

It hasn't been a great 9+ years for Orioles fans.

And it probably won't get much better as long as Angelos is around.

Chances that the Orioles play better with Tejada out of the lineup...

I doubt Andy MacPhail would have taken his job if Angelos didn't give him full control of the team, so I think there will be a turnaround sooner rather than later. Plus, it's gonna be hard for Angelos to screw up some of the minor league talent we have coming up.

3 in a row right now though, I'll take it.
